He creates from his studio in Los Angeles, CA. Andy Sklar gets inspiration from the past. Art Deco and old Hollywood nostalgia are among his strongest influences. "I love the art deco and fashion styles from the 30s and 40s," he says. For the Expressions of Love designs, Andy took his inspiration from the Old Our gang series, where childhood is more imagined then real, and layered with sophistication and whimsy. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Andy has designed for magazines, fashion events, and Walt Disney's Imagineering theme park attractions.
